In prior soil test, I was extremely low on Nitrogen but high on Phosphorus and Potassium so this product was just what I needed, high Nitrogen only. I did notice a greener, thicker an more healthy looking lawn this summer.

USED THIS PRODUCT ON MY SECOND PROPERTY TO HELP WITH THE HEALTH OF MY TURF. HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS SO FAR, EVEN THOUGH IT HAS BEEN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. LAWN STAR PRODUCTS ARE TOP OF THE LINE.

For best results apply before 10 am, or after 5 pm. Application during the afternoon should be avoided.
Avoid mowing your lawn 24 hours prior to and after application to ensure proper uptake of 30-0-0.
Application should be repeated every three to six weeks, or on an as-needed basis.
Please ensure your lawn is on a suitable watering schedule. Water is essential to a healthy lawn and proper uptake of nutrients.
The included sprayer will automatically mix LawnStar 30-0-0 with water and dilute it at the proper rate.
1. Shake product well before use
2. Attach sprayer to a standard garden hose. Switch on water supply
3. Turn sprayer to the “ON” position. Important note: Push in plastic safety tab before attempting to adjust dial
4. Slowly apply the spray in a side-to-side motion, being sure to cover the area evenly. Aim to apply at a rate of 5–10 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft.
For less severe deficiency/maintenance, apply 5 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft.
For more severe nutrient deficiency, apply 10 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft.
May cause staining. Shake product well before use.

Not all nitrogen is made equal
When looking at high nitrogen fertilizers, it’s important to look at their ratio of immediate release versus slow release nitrogen.
You might be surprised to see that many liquid nitrogen solutions will contain little to no slow-release nitrogen. The reason for this is quite simple: it costs more to produce.
When you apply any kind of fertilizer, your lawn will naturally absorb as much as possible (especially if it has been starved of nutrients).
But too much of a good thing ain’t always a good thing.
As you pass a certain threshold (around 20%) of immediate release nitrogen, you get into the burn danger zone. (Yes, the same thing that causes those pesky yellow spots caused by your dog’s urine).
Fertilizers with low nitrogen %’s can get away with using immediate (Urea) nitrogen only because the concentration is so low.
But opting for low concentrations isn’t economical or realistic for those who want to really dominate on their lawns – else you’d be reapplying all the time.
Sometimes, you need more horsepower.
…Which is why you need a good proportion of slow release nitrogen in the mix. This source of nitrogen is absorbed by your turf over the course of weeks, not hours.
Meaning you get more effective results that last longer, while greatly reducing the risk of lawn burn.
